From paste-ups and Rubylith to triangles and T-squares, the communications industry has come a long way from the very mechanical early days! Step into Brian’s Way-Back Machine and journey through time as he showcases his Museum of Obsolete Technologies in his presentation "This is NOT your Father’s Communication’s Business".

Lawler is a veteran of those "obsolete" technologies – letterpress operations and mechanical artwork preparation – but today teaches digital typography and color management as an Associate Professor at Cal-Poly. He has seen it all and will share his unique perspective on the revolution!
