Hotel Valley Ho was cool back in 1956 when it first opened its doors. Before downtown Scottsdale was downtown. It's every bit as chic now, after an expansive but meticulously groomed 2005 renovation.

This mid-century landmark is the evolution of cool with posh, playful rooms and suites, fab fare at ZuZu and Trader Vic's, and VH Spa for Vitality and Health.

Hotel Valley Ho, with its inviting pool courtyard, became a hotspot for celebrities of the era and was all the rage in those golden days and a legend in its own time.  It was the meeting place of Scottsdale's society, a year-round resort to Hollywood stars, and an oasis for well-heeled visitors from around the country.  The legendary hotel has been thrilling guests since opening in 1956 with regular sightings of Hollywood's greats.
