Brian P. Lawler - Keynote Luncheon Speaker
Assistant Professor, Graphic Communication
and Humanaties programs, Cal Poly State University
Mr. Lawler teaches courses in color theory and quality control, new technologies, prepress, and digital typography.
He is a graphic arts and photographic industry expert with over 30
years’ experience in photography, typography, prepress systems, platemaking, press and production systems.
Lawler is a specialist in color management systems and the integration of precision color systems in prepress work flows. As a consultant, he has worked worldwide for firms including Eastman Kodak Company, Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Adobe Systems, Xerox, Epson America, and Nikon.
He is Contributing Editor for CreativePro.com, and is the author of the Official Adobe Print Production Guide, published in 2005. That book has been published in English, French and Turkish editions. He also has a blog on Premedia trends on the Graphic Arts Monthly web site.
His recent work involves the design of digital type faces. His new series of digital type fonts, called Tallphabet, is under construction now.

Daniel Dejan is the National Print & Creative Specialist for
Sappi Fine Paper. In this position Mr. Dejan provides value-added marketing, sales and technical consultation as well as conducting internal and external educational programs to the print, paper and creative communities. He comes to thisposition after 30 years as an award-winning graphic designer, art director, creative director, print production manager and buyer.
A dedicated graphics arts educator, author and consultant with many years of national and international experience, Mr. Dejan has been invited to judge numerous graphic design and print competitions, written extensively for graphic arts trade publications and has sat on the Board of several graphic arts associations and companies.
Kelly McCathran is a Certified Technical Trainer and an Adobe
Certified Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, GoLive
and PageMaker. She also teaches QuarkXPress, PitStop and Flash.
She travels the U.S. (and countries beyond) conducting hands-on
application classes and technical seminars. In addition Kelly works for
Adobe part time as a Service Provider Evangelist, maintaining
relationships with the top print shops in North America.

Andy Van Oostrum - As Regional Sales Manager of eROI, Andy Van Oostrum is responsible for campaign development & strategy, and educating clients and prospects on the intricacies of relationship, word of mouth, and social marketing. Current eROI clients include: Kettle Foods, Travelocity, Infocus, Nike, TACA Airlines, Modern Luxury Magazines, Konami, and Intel.
Andy is a native of Oklahoma, and began his sales and marketing career early on by founding 4A Enterprises, a wholesale fireworks distributorship complete with 20 retail outlets. Recently, Andy was the Director of Sales for a Portland based B2B consumer credit reporting agency, OneCreditSource.com, where he built an extensive sales process, and doubled company sales for 3 consecutive years. He also worked as a Sales Engineer for TYCO Electronics, and a Product Marketing Engineer for Red Hawk/CDT, both in the Silicon Valley. Andy has degrees in International Business, Management, and Japanese from Oklahoma State and Kansai Gaidai University, and a passion for all things eMarketing.

Steve Sprinkel is the Co-Owner of Hatcher Press in San Carlos, CA,
the Bay Area’s Premier full service print shop. Founded in 1963,
Hatcher serves a wide variety of clients delivering myriad print
applications, including Lenticular printing.
Steve is Past Chairman of the Board at the Printing Industries of
Northern California and currently serves that organization as a
Director. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Marketing
Committee for The Printing Industries of America & The Graphic Arts
Technical Foundation.

Cathrine "Cat" Moriarty - As Editor of Deliver Magazine/delivermagazine.com and as the Advocate of Direct Mail
Programs with Corporate Advertising at the United States Postal Service (USPS) headquarters, Cat is dedicated to the large business sector, developing marketing strategies to help senior-level direct marketers and advertising agencies maximize their integrated communications, using USPS products and services. In her role, she implements campaigns based on increasing consideration and use of Direct Mail utilizing personalization and database management with the inclusion of environmentally friendly processes.
Cat has been with the U.S. Postal Service since 1988, having gained relevant exposure and expertise in various fields including customer services, sales and acquisitions and most recently, segment advertising and marketing. With this diverse background, Cat’s focus is to grow and retain USPS customers by demonstrating the power of Direct Mail in maximizing brand loyalty, creating and sustaining customer retention and just as important, to create customer engagement. Using research as a guide, she identifies and locates opportunities across different customer segments where Direct Mail can increase return on marketing investments. As the editor of the recently re-launched Deliver magazine and its new Web counterpart, delivermagazine.com, Cat will take this message to marketers across all disciplines and industry sectors.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, Conn., where she majored in Business and Marketing and is currently working toward a Masters degree, with an emphasis on Marketing Communications.
Cat has many hobbies and she wishes she could master just one of them! She enjoys spending time with family who are all over the east coast and friends where she resides in Maryland. She is also the proud human of her "spoiled" dog, Bodhi.

Mark Nardozzi is currently heads up the business sales team for Macmedia, inc, the valleys premier Apple Specialist sales and service center. In his current role, Mark is responsible for growing local market share for Macmedia in the print and design community through consulting and education in addition to developing various marketing and training efforts for our client base.
A New York native, Mark got his start in the IT world designing and facilitating multi-million dollar sales training programs for IT distribution centered around helping business owners expand their sales and support competencies into new markets. Through the five years of supporting these national training campaigns, Mark has gained a very unique glimpse into the IT business world.
With two years of desert living under his belt, Mark is now happy to call the Phoenix valley his home. When he’s not busy being a geek during the week, he enjoys riding motorcycles and exploring the desert’s endless hiking trails.
